The Republic of Kenya is a country in East Africa. Lying along the Indian Ocean, at the equator, Kenya is bordered by Ethiopia (north), Somalia (northeast), Tanzania (south), Uganda plus Lake Victoria (west), and Sudan (northwest).

With a population of about 39 million, Kenya welcomes millions of visitors from all over the world each year.  There are a wide range of sites and attractions on offer from world-famous national parks to the colorful ethnic mix and superb beaches.

Treating Kenya as a succession of tourist sights isn't the only most stimulating way of experiencing the country. The country is an important regional transportation hub and its easy accessibility means that a visit to all major countries of East and Central Africa - during one trip is easily possible.
